Crisis Cognition Partners with VNOG to Enhance Resilient Communication Infrastructure.

Geleen, 24 February 2025 — Crisis Cognition, a cutting-edge startup dedicated to developing technology for good in the humanitarian and disaster response space, is proud to announce its collaboration with Veiligheidsregio Noord- en Oost-Gelderland (VNOG). This partnership marks a significant step forward in advancing resilient communication infrastructure for crisis management.

VNOG plays a crucial role in coordinating emergency services across 22 municipalities in the northern and eastern regions of Gelderland, Netherlands. Their mission includes firefighting, disaster response, medical aid, and ensuring public safety. Together with Crisis Cognition, they aim to establish a robust and self-sustaining communication network capable of functioning even during prolonged disruptions of electricity or communication services.

This initiative aligns with national and international strategies aimed at fostering societal resilience, as outlined by the Dutch Ministry of Justice & Security and Defense, as well as NATO and EU frameworks. The project focuses on creating an independent and sustainable communication structure that connects all VNOG locations, enhancing operational continuity during crises.

For Crisis Cognition, this collaboration represents a pivotal milestone in its journey as a new player in the tech-for-good sector. By leveraging innovative wireless technologies, autonomous power solutions, and secure network management systems, Crisis Cognition is demonstrating its commitment to delivering impactful tools that strengthen community preparedness and response capabilities.
